What's New Added and Change of Design

I've added a "what's new" bit to the welcome page (but not the welcome post):

I've also changed the design, so it's hopefully much cleaner now.

A Little About Myself

I suppose I should introduce myself. My online nick is Zee Rho (an obvious play on "zero"). I am in my early forties and have some experience to share from my life. Feel free to dip in and out as you will. I promise I'm not going to be preachy or try to sell anything (other than possibly a book)! I just want to offer any help that you may (or not) find in my experience.

My life's journey seems to be one (perhaps like many people?) of overcoming fears. In particular, it seems to have been to overcome the fear of loving, and of being loved. Because of past depression and present physical illness, I have had a lot of time to look at the "human condition". At least, as it applied in my life and those around me. I'm gifted (or cursed!) with a high IQ, reasoning and putting things into simpler words. So although there is both a "philosophy" and a "theology" behind much of what I write, there is also my own experience and simple words. What I want to share is above all practical; the things I have learnt and found to be helpful.

As I write, my life partner is very ill and in hospital. So it may be that I am delayed from time to time in posting. Please be patient. I want to write one or more "series" of posts written ahead of time. But these two things mean I may not start straightaway. Please visit from time to time, or subscribe using the links in the left-hand column. Subscribing means you won't miss posts. The series I want to start soon will be on Sundays.

Take care. May you be loved.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I hope that you will find it helpful. In it, I share my personal journey in search of happiness. It is a journey through atheism, scientism, Zen Buddhism and elements of Christian theology. But I start from first principles. Take from it what you will, all I ask is that you be polite and respectful both to me and to commenters.
